Hurling Nursery Programme

Outcomes: 

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

· Implement a coaching structure in the nursery

· Set up games and activities for children and young people to develop basic fundamental skills

· Match sessions to the ability levels of the children

· Introduce children to a range of equipment

· Provide the correct amount of coaches for the group

· Understand how to safely manage and provide for all children involved

· Introduce children to small sided games

Content: 

The aim of this course is to provide coaches and parents of young children with games and ideas on how to develop basic fundamental skills.

Participants will also gain an understanding of how to implement a relevant coaching structure for the nursery.
